Vista Users: Setup Instructions for Toolbook/Neuron online programs.

Due to the extreme security levels incorporated into Vista, we have a detailed list that allows 
your Vista computer to run programs not designed by Microsoft on your Internet Explorer 7.
Please note: Vista will consider many installations to be an intrusion to security and the extreme 
security of Vista requires many sequential steps to get Vista to accept the software for operation.
We understand this list is long.  We did not make Vista or the extreme security you have experienced.


Perform ALL actions below IN SEQUENCE.  There are 3 sections.  You must do them all:

1) This next section ensures you have the latest Windows Vista drivers.  It is required:
- Click the Start Menu button in the lower left corner of your screen
- Select Control Panel
- Select System Maintenance
- Select Windows Updates
- Select Check for Updates
- Install ALL the latest Windows Updates for your Vista operating system

2) This next section sets your security so that Vista allows access to CPaT servers.  It is required:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Select Tools from the menu bar
- Select Internet Options from the dropdown list
- Select the Advanced Tab
- Select Restore Advanced Settings
- Select Security Tab
- Select Reset all Zones to Default Level
- UNCHECK "Enable Protected Mode" ****** YOU MUST PERFORM THIS STEP ******
- Select Trusted Sites and select the Sites button
- Deselect (Uncheck) the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone box
- In the box - add CPaT websites "http://www.click2cbt.com" and "http://www.click4cbt.com"
- Once both websites have been added select Close 
- Select the General Tab
- Select the Browsing History Settings button
- Increase the Disk space to use to 1024
- Click OK to close the settings dialog box
- Click OK again to close the main setup dialog box

3) This section provides guidance to log in and install Neuron.  It is required:
- Start Internet Explorer and go to www.cpat.com.
- Select Training Login on the CPaT home page.
- Select your company link from the list of companies.
- Click the link to "Download Neuron 2004"
- Download (save to descktop) and then Install Neuron.  This must be done after above Vista procedures.

*** Important: Vista may show you an error message that indicates the Neuron installation did not succeed.
THIS ERROR MESSAGE IS INCORRECT!!! 
*** Reject Vista's solution to correct the problem.  Accept the installation as it was performed!

- RE-BOOT YOUR COMPUTER to finish the process.
